Sarfaraz Dhanji, MD, is board certified Family Physician who has been practicing medicine for over 15 years. Having been in medical education as Associate Program Director and Assistant Clinical Professor in Family Medicine, and Program Director for Medical Informatics, he enjoys educating patients about their health and making long-lasting relationships with his patients.  He has taught hospital medicine and outpatient clinical medicine as clinical professor of medicine for Mercer University School of Medicine and the Medical College of Georgia and has been a proponent of the value of continuity of care.  His philosophy of medicine is simple – focus on the patient and provide cost-effective quality care based on prevention and screening.

At Mercer University, Dr. Dhanji also educated medical students on the Bio-Psychosocial Model of Medicine, which he practices with all his patients.  Understanding the nuances and intricacies of a patient’s life affords better, personalized care.
